The new identity is just part of an overall system designed to communicate an entire brand experience to multiple target audiences. SALT’s design philosophy is to develop a complete visual language for our clients. For CAIS, the visual language included the logo, portraits of the students, traditional Chinese brushstrokes as borders for photography, and a series of select adjectives and type fonts in English and Mandarin. The brand system works well across a range of bilingual communications, from the admissions brochures to the website http://www.cais.org. |
| Like the education at CAIS, every aspect of the brand had to work in both English and Mandarin. From the logo to the home page of the website, the design system is equally balanced and easily read. |
